So there I was, doing nothing at my computer, and Lulu got all excited--for the first time, really, since her operation--and started pawing at the raindrops on the windowpane. 
And then I did the dishes. When I turned off the water, there was this weird yellow light that made me wonder if all the lights were on in the house, if it was dark or bright out, if I weren't going to bump into something on my way through the apartment... And then I saw something that looked a little bit like this 
out the window, and snapped it knowing the strange light wouldn't really make its way into the numeric...
And then I went to the other side of the apartment and saw this 
and heard Kiki singing the Muppets' song in my head ("Some day we'll find it...The lovers, the dreamers, and me...We know that it's probably maaaGIC...Have you been half asleep, and have you heard voices...") I'm not sure I've ever seen a rainbow so well-formed.
